I have been designing rooms for as long as I can remember. Even as a little girl, I was constantly redesigning my dollhouse, creating “custom” hand drawn wallpaper and the perfect cardboard furniture. (And with two young boys, this dollhouse is currently being used in our playroom as a “Star Wars” house). Before starting a family I worked for several years in the financial planning industry. Knowing I did not want to go back to my previous job, I took some time off from working to be at home with my children.
I have been helping people decorate rooms and stage their homes for as long as I can remember and I always thought I would love to pursue it as a career. This transition time in my life was the real impetus to starting my own business. I enrolled at the Boston Architectural College and in 2008 MK Design was established. My passion is creating beautiful spaces for my clients while raising my family is my greatest joy
